Spiced Roasted Chickpeas
- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed (approx. 425g)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (approx. 15g)
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (approx. 1g)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (approx. 0.5g)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin (approx. 0.5g)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Thoroughly dry the chickpeas using a clean kitchen towel or paper towel.
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the chickpeas, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and ground cumin. Toss until the chickpeas are evenly coated.
- Spread the chickpeas out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Roast the chickpeas in the oven for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until crispy and golden brown.
- Allow the chickpeas to cool slightly before enjoying them as a snack.
